Change boot order with Grub Customizer

If you have a dual OS boot setup on your PC, chances are (according to Murphy's law) that your machine will never boot in the OS that you need. And obviously you will want to change the boot order.
All until Ubuntu 11.10 you could change the boot order from grub with Startrupmanager, but that piece of software is no longer supported. Instead, you can now use Grub Customizer.

To install Grub Customizer, open a terminal and execute the following commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install grub-customizer
To start the program, type grub into the Unity dash.

There are two ways to change the boot order:

If you open Grub Customizer and go to List configuration tab, you will see there a list with all OSes on your machine. Now you can change the order with the arrows from the toolbar. Save the configuration and exit.

Another way is to leave the list unchanged and only choose the list item to boot into. Open Grub Customizer and go to the General settings tab. The first field here is the default entry . On the predefined entry you can choose the boot order by position. As you can see in the image i have chosen the entry no. five.
