Ubuntu (cutting) Edge


The first official Ubuntu phone is about to come into existence via the most demanding crowd-funding campaign on  indiegogo.
Canonical is pushing the limits by setting the bar at 32 million dollars. If the money are not raised in 31 days the project will fail. In order to succeed they would need at least 1 million a day, but only in the first hour or so they managed to attract 100,000.

To get one you have to pay 830 USD plus $30 for shipping outside UK and USA. But for the first 24 hours you can get it on the special price of $600.
