Restricted DVD formats

Ubuntu as an operating system aims to be universal. Although it can be customized in many different languages, there is only one official release for the hole world. DVDs however are restricted to geographical areas. So here is what to do if your DVD won't play on your Ubuntu PC.
You will have to install the libdvdread4 package. Open a terminal and write:

sudo apt-get install libdvdread4

And immediately after:

sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread4/install-css.sh

Now this should be enough to be able to watch DVDs encoded for other regions.
